Calendar Helper is a new app that I made to help keep track of homework.
It is a simple app and works 100% offline, but it can be extremely useful for students!
You select your Canvas calendar, a Reminders list for your homework, and it does the rest. This way, you can receive notifications when things are due and keep track of what you have already completed and what still needs to be done.
Since it works offline, you will have to add a subscription to your Canvas calendar in the iOS Calendar app. After you have selected a calendar and a list, you just have to pull to refresh! It will populate the list with your assignments within the date ranges you set in the Settings tab. It will not auto-refresh, so you will have to come back and pull-to-refresh again.
After it finds your assignments, it creates a list of Courses in the Courses tab where you can give each one a unique nickname. Save the nicknames and then pull to refresh again. Now all of the assignments and reminders have the nicknames instead of the long course names!
